Spinach Soy Milk Soup
Spinach Soy Milk Soup with Bacon and Potatoes
A quick & easy soup for a cold winter day like today. It's so windy outside.
Wish I could stay at home tonight instead of going to work...
obachan, forgive me for my ignorance, but I guess this is a savoury soup? Cos the soy milk that we have here is always sweetened, and the idea of using soy milk as a soup base is rather alien to me. But it does look very wholesome.
Yep! It’s a savory soup : ) We have both sweetened and unsweetened soy milk and I use unsweetened one for soup. Wanna take a look at what we have here? The top 2 (beige and green packages) are unsweetened ones and the rest are: coffee-, tea- and banana-flavored soy milk. I like the one in the green package…. or more precisely, that’s the only kind I can drink.
Obachan.. ;) while you wished to stay home.. i wished i was out running about.. hhehe!! but spinach soy milk soup.. i like.. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, do you want to try working at a Japanese Izakaya instead of me ? ;)

ReplyDeletehey, thanks for telling me more about the soy milk. Coffee, tea and banana-flavored soy milk? Hmm...don't think I'm adventurous enough for those. :)
