Tororo-jiru


Tororo-jiru (grated yam soup)

Again I’m not sure what this should be called, but Tororo-juru (grated yam soup) seems to explain what this is. It’s grated yam and egg mixture poured into kombu (kelp)-and-soy-sauce based soup. I was going to drop the yam mixture like dumplings into the clear soup, but I just got impatient and poured the mixture in all at one time ;P
