Banana-Walnut Bread

Banana-Walnut Bread

I had this sudden craving for banana-walnut bread today, so I baked one this afternoon.

The banana I used wasn’t very ripe but this still tastes OK (a little overbaked, though). I just had two slices. Very filling. Mmmm…

OK, guys, here's the recipe. I substituted the shortening with butter, though. ;)

I love the banana+walnut combination. I sometimes make a pancake with this combo.

Oh, pancakes sound good, too. I’ve tried banana pancakes before, but without walnuts. Maybe next time. Thanks.

Yours will be better than mine, I’m sure. :) Mine was overbaked.

Well, I bet my funny “Engrish” is also making many people smile when I least expect it. But that’s OK. That’s a gift, I think. Think about it. Isn’t it much better than being terribly smart and making people disgusted? I’d rather be dumb and make people smile.

    Good luck. ;)

My first experience with banana-walnut bread was in the U.S., too. I love it.

  14. I definitely don't smile because I find your blog "dumb", I find it entertaining and interesting, and I'm smiling out of contentment. And your English is much better than my Japanese. As they say in France : Nah! Which kids say and nearly means : There!
