My Therapy...

Chocolate Muffins

Something frustrating happened last night and this morning, so I made these in the late afternoon to pamper myself. While baking these in the oven, I gutted a couple of fish to let my aggression out. :O

A nice teatime with these muffins healed me. And a good thing is that I have more than enough fish fillet to make meuniere for my supper tonight.
Cooking/baking can be pretty therapeutic, you know.

Thank you. As it is often said, I think chocolate makes the world a better place. Right?

Oh, you poor thing. You are frustrated, too? Welcome to the club. ;) If this makes you feel any better, “stressed” spelled backwards is “desserts.” This is a great finding that LPC shared in http://www.lapetitechinoise.com/2006/06/desserts_for_the_stressed_a_ch.html her post a while ago. (Thanks, LPC.)

Oh, it was nothing serious. Sometimes a rich and old woman can be so hard to please. That’s all…
BTW, just let me know when you get upset next time. You can clean my room any time. ;)

If I’d have to deal with such a hard-to-please woman a couple more times, soon my freezer would be full of frozen mackerel fillets. Hahaha…

I think its effectiveness is pretty much established and known worldwide. BTW, what do you think about fish-gutting therapy?

  9. There's something about muffins....doesn't seem to matter what kind they are, they are always soothing. Maybe it's the size/shape. Hope they made your day better.
