I Planted Dill Seeds

Dill

My first attempt this year to grow dill from seeds was not successful. I planted the seeds too late and it got too hot while the young dill plants were still very small and weak. So all of them died in mid August. Now that the hottest time of the year seems to be over, I decided to give it a try again. It is often said here that covering the planter with newspaper keeps the seeds moist. OK, I put a small piece of newspaper like this. Hope this works. It’d be really exciting to make a nice fish dinner using dill from my balcony garden, because it’s hard to find fresh dill at stores around here.
