Hm... my kind of baby bottle!
Wow, ginger ale was easy to get in Tokyo ten years ago. I drank it all the time. It reminded me of back home.

I bought a soda siphon manufactured by Isi of Austria because I wanted to drink soda water without sugar or recycling plastic bottles. I boiled ginger in spring water recently and added sugar and it was surprisingly tasty.

> pJ --- Thanks ;)
> Jonny --- :D :D :D … Sorry, Jonny, I just pictured a tattooed baby sucking a plastic baby bottle….
Yeah, it must be easy to get ginger ale in Tokyo. We used to have some at nearby supermarkets, but for some reason they don't any more.
> Jennifer --- A soda siphon! That must be something nice to have at home. I love ginger-sugar combination, too. : )

obachan;
The drink looks refreshing, what is in it? I don't know much about them...

we make moscow mules here in san francisco with ginger beer, which is like ginger ale but with a much stronger ginger kick. ha ha. like the kick of a mule maybe? i guess you could amp it up by crushing some fresh ginger into the ginger ale....might be gross though.

> carlyn --- Vodka, ginger ale and lime juice (freshly squeezed). ;)
> rae --- Mmmmm… a little more kick of ginger sounds nice! (Though I’ve never been kicked by a mule before so I don't know what it's like ;P) I don’t think I can find ginger beer around here, but I could try fresh ginger someday. We’ll see.

Hi Obachan - yes, it looks a bit like a baby bottle... but I still like 100 yes shop! Your moscow mule looks very refreshing.

Hi keiko,
I simply cannot live without 100 yen shop, honestly.
