They look so delicious.. Obachan..!
Hi Obachan,
Oooh, I really like carrot cake. This one looks good even if it doesn't have walnuts in it. =)
Hey! Now that you've mentioned it, your cake slice DOES look like hello kitty! :)
No walnuts, not stated amount of cinnammon, but your photo makes the cake look oh-so-yummy anyway!
obachan'
carrot cake looks delicious...do you add pineapple? No walnuts..? that's OK with me....
Good for you! I love your carrot cake has a beautiful deep orange color!
Big Bok
Thanks. Would have been much better if with walnuts!

I thought you would like this kind of cutie.

Thanks. But next time I’ll definitely use walnuts.

Honestly, my photo re-touching is improving much faster than my cooking and English.

I’ve never tried adding pineapple to carrot cake, but I can imagine how it would taste like. Yeah, maybe, not a bad idea…

Thanks. I saw your carrot cake and that was marvelous! : )
The cake is so cute! I love how light and fluffy it looks. ^_^
Obachan - such a pretty looking cake, it's got a lovely 'carrot orange' colour. I love the name too, I discovered she was from a suburb of london when I got my 'hello kitty' birthday card last year!
hi obachan, i am so happy to have discovered your blog - it is simply stunning and utterly delicious to both read and look at!

Well, I did a bit of re-touching to these photos, to be honest. I always try to make the color closer to what I see with my eyes, though… nothing more. But depending on the display, the color might be showing brighter or redder than what I see on mine. BTW, Your site is so really charming ;)
Tea
Thanks. It sure was light and fluffy.

Oh, my. Thanks for the nice words, but I guess you, being a photo expert, can tell my cheesy work. ;P It’s really frustrating to take shots with an obsolete digital camera!

Welcome! Thanks for visiting my site. I just adore your photos and I know mine are far from yours…but I’ll keep experimenting.
Your site always gives me so much inspiration :)
