that is wonderful!
Isn't it great that it is samma season! I am loving being able to know that さんま焼き is just an izakaya away...
Actually I am on a めっちゃ大変 diet and haven't really been going to the izakaya as much recently - although have managed to still eat quite a bit of samma! I am loving the cold weather coming through - can't wait for the nabe/mikkan/kotatsu season.
Obachan,
I'm so happy for your new grill! now I bet samma and all your fish will turn out great! My parents have always love to eat samma but I have never aquired a taste for it... maybe someday.
Hi, first time commenting on your blog although I have been a fan of yours for a long time now. I just wanted to say that all your pics are just gorgeous! I love your new shiny stove!
Wow! Those fish looks delicious! Your grill is fabulous!

Thanks. :)

Oh, hi. So great to hear from you! :D Isn't samma great with grated daikon and nicely cooked white rice? I just love the combination.
BTW, how come you're on a めっちゃ大変 diet in autumn... when everything tastes so good and most animals are supposed to put on a layer of fat to survive the cold winter? ;) That reminds me... I have to take out and dry my kotatsu buton...

Hope you have a chance to enjoy a good samma someday.

Thank you for commenting.:) My new stove will not stay shiny for long, but I think it shows how frequently I use it and enjoy cooking (instead of how lazy I am in cleaning it :P) Haha...
