Garden Report - April 2006 -

Gosh! Is it already the 12th?!?! My blog hasn’t been updated for more than 10 days?
Sorry, dear readers. I’ve been extremely busy, and when I have time later this week, I’ll tell you what I’ve been up to.

These shots are from my balcony garden.

See the blueberry flowers?

Dog rose. I hope this blooms this year…

those are some sturdy railings you have on your balcony (*lanai). They don't secure the railings into a separate curbing on the lanai floors, over here....instead cheaply stick the aluminium railing directly to the concrete floor....which is weaker, and the whole assembly can huli over, if you lean too much on the lanai railing.

Obachan! You're back! 偉い!

I think I know how you feel about time going by so quickly... I feel like someone pressed the fast-forward button on my life these days.

Yeah, I hope I can get more blueberries than last year. I wish I were a bee charmer …

How’s the weather over there these days? We had a terrible rain last Saturday and I had to walk in the rain for apx. 40 min. My shoes are still not completely dry…

I completed “the day one” post below. Hope you enjoy reading it. :)

I never ever thought that anyone would comment on the railings on my balcony. :D
Anyway, you made me feel very safe. Thanks.

It’s always so nice to be back here. Are you still very busy every day?

Thank you so much. Hope you like my blog and keep coming back.
That reminds me… I should add my recent entries to the categories index. I’ve been lazy…

It’s so strange that you can get anything there, even something so unpopular like burdock, but blueberry plant is so hard to find? Anyway, if you can find one, sunshine blue seems to be easier to grow than other kind of blueberries. Good luck. :)

Oh… sorry to hear that. I wish I could send you some if I would be able to harvest many blueberries this year…

Obachan! Yes, I have two weeks left in this semester so I'm very busy writing papers and studying for my exams. I'm worried about my Japanese finals! I wanted to grow some herbs in window boxes this year, but I'm afraid I won't have time until it's too late to plant them.
